in chicago right now, but headed back soon to be with my hubby. yay! :) i'm looking forward to getting back to our new home, i guess being away for just a few days makes me more eager to get back. still gotta work on getting a phone line and internet, by the way. this is taking forever, and a i swear i never want to deal with cable companies again after this.
tomorrow, we're planning on going to an astros/cards game. I'm sort of excited to see the new stadium, and sort of excited because josh is so looking forward to it. but people, let me ask you this. would you be excited to go to a cards game with someone who's such a die-hard astros fan, who will surely wear his big, black astros jersey and cheer for his hometeam in the midst of a cardinal crowd?? it's a little unnerving, to be honest. but oh well.. anything for josh i guess. i did read in the newspaper that st. louis and boston are the #1 and #2 places to be to watch baseball (the only difference being that st. louis fans are "nicer"-phew!) and no, reading the sports page is not a regular thing for me... anyway, we'll take some pictures if we find tickets. i have dreams of flying rotten tomatoes and bananas, although i guess i'll just have to hope for the best.

It sounds just like the time when we went to the Rockets game here in Seattle. Sam decides to wear his yao jersey AND rockets hat while sitting in the midst of Sonics fans. And no, Sonics fans are NOT nice. Grow some thick skin :) Thank God the Rockets won that night!
"What an unfortunate thing to happen on dozen egg night."
I forget the movie. Go 'Stros! Winning makes it easier, definitely. But be strong. Be proud.
What, no "Deep in the Heart of Texas" in the 7th inning stretch? Weird.
dude, i'd definitely be there with my white and red astros jersey cheering for the team!!
goooo 'stros!!
