Our peanut

Long overdue, but nevertheless here it finally is: the first picture of our little one at only 8.5 weeks!

Can you see the oversized head, the body, and little stubbies for arms and legs.. and the yolk sac near the tail end? Pretty cool...
Since the sonogram has pretty tiny font, here are some of the details: the CRL is 2.12 cm at gestational age (GA) 8w5d, pretty average size. Due date is set for February 14, 2008.

This was taken on 7/10. Now, our peanut... probably doesn't look so much like a peanut anymore! I'm nearing my 20th week (time flies!) so it's likely over 6 inches long already, and has all of its organs fully formed(we hope!) We're going back to get another ultrasound this friday, so we'll have some exciting XY news to post again... maybe along with another picture. :)

So thanks to all our friends who have been praying for us!! No nausea, morning sickness, or weird cravings really... life is pretty normal and busy for us, as we prepare for what's ahead...
